Experience all the aspects of a typical preschool morning together with your infant or toddler. Rugrats provides a fun introduction and easy way to make the transition into a regular preschool class, when your child (and you!) are ready. Ages: 3 months to 24 months. Get more information.
Join Us For Lunch Bunch!
If your child is not in daycare, but you would like a couple of hours to run errands, go to an appointment, etc. you can reserve a spot in Lunch Bunch for your child. The cost is $6.50 per hour.
Reservations are a must! Call the school office, 835-6614 to reserve a space.

Enrichment Classes
The JCC Preschool provides the opportunity for your child to take various enrichment classes at our facility after their regular preschool class is over. We contract with outside vendors to come to our facility. All enrichment teachers are professionals in their field. Classes for three year old and Pre-K classes begin in September. Two year old classes begin in November.
All enrichments are on-going classes. You will automatically be billed for each month unless you give us advance notice. If you would like to withdraw your child we must get it in writing and your child will be withdrawn as of the end of the month.
TAE KWON DO Your child will be practicing coordination and focus in this fun enrichment class taught by Tampa Black Belt Academy. Fifth degree black belt, Ryan Fernandez, is your instructor here at the South Branch. Your child will be testing for color belts during the year.
TUMBLEKIDS Tumblekids offers safe, expert gymnastics instruction right at the JCC Preschool. That’s right! The instructors and equipment come to you. The class includes all the necessary equipment and is led by Dean Dryer, a USAG Safety certified instructor.
MOLLY MANNERS (Pre-K Only). Molly Manners is a fun, interactive and effective program that empowers children to ecome confident, considerate, and respectful of themselves & others. Interactive classes include games, roleplaying, crafts and weekly reviews. Parents will receive weekly “Manners Minutes” with a review of topics covered to reinforce and practice at home. There are ten children per class. Classes begin Sept. 7th. Age: Pre-K
SOCCER SHOTS Soccer Shots is designed for children ages 3 - 8 and incorporates games that focus on motor development skills, hand/eye coordination, speed/agility, memory/word of the day, taking direction/following instruction and much more! Through the activities and games that are played, your child’s character and attitude will be challenged and molded positively, as they are taught elements of teamwork, sharing, communication, and respect. The instructor, Chad Thomson, was born and raised in Tampa. He started playing soccer at 4 yrs old and played for Blackwatch soccer club and Plant High where he was Captain of the Varsity team each of his 3 yrs there. Chad received a full soccer scholarship to Elon University in North Carolina. He played Florida Suncoast Soccer League and led his team to win Florida State Cup in 2005 and 2009. Chad was the assistant men's Varsity soccer coach at Plant High and coached JV men's soccer at Berkeley Prep.
ART EXPLORERS An Art Class that allows children the ability to create art and learn basic art concepts using a variety of medias (drawing, painting, collage). • Focus will be on the process not the product • Students will explore and experiment using different materials • The creativity of each child will be encourage • The end result will be an expression of themselves Art Explorers’ instructor, Lori Shapiro, earned her teaching certificate in 1997 from the College of St. Elizabeth in NJ. Prior to that she received a business degree from The University of South Florida. She started in education teaching preschool, then 3rd grade before becoming a mother of boy/girl twins (now 8 years old). She has been substitute teaching in the South Tampa public school system the and also taught art enrichment classes to preschool and elementary age children with KidzArt. She started up Art Explorers two years ago.
INTRODUCTION TO DANCE
Creative I -This is for our three year old classes. This class uses a vast array of props. The focus is on ballet, jazz and contemporary movements, as well as theatre skills. Class begins with a warm up and floor stretches. Proper body alignment, and foot/arm placement are maintained in this class. A variety of dances are choreographed, and we continue to focus on building each child’s confidence level, since it relates to self-expression.
Pre-Ballet-For our Pre-K students, this is a structured class and a great introduction to ballet. Proper body alignment and arm/foot placement is developed. Class includes a warm up, floor work and across the floor movements. Props are also incorporated into this class. There are 10 children per class. Classes begin September 9th.
A 12:20 class for twos will begin later in the year. Registration for this class will be in announced.
